În memoriile sale, marturiseste ca aflat în anul 1976, pe când era anchetat la Securitate, la Rahova, ca în acte, localitatea sa de nastere era Iasi, judetul Fagaras. A actionat pe versantul nordic al Muntilor Fagaras.
